Sinopse
A zoologist recounts his bizarre experiences collecting specimens for the Bronx Park in this satirical collection of early science fiction tales. The protagonist encounters a variety of cryptozoological oddities, including the UX (an extinct bird) and sea monsters, often while distracted by a pretty face. The stories are lighthearted and absurdist, poking fun at the dry academic world and the romantic tropes of the era. It showcases a whimsical side of the author better known for his horror, blending biology with screwball comedy.
