Sinopse
During a truce in the Third Crusade, the camps of the Christians and the Saracens become the stage for a story of disguise, healing, and mutual respect. A poor Scottish knight navigates the political treachery of the European princes while forming a bond with the noble Saladin. The novel challenges the binary view of the holy war, presenting the Sultan as a paragon of chivalry equal to Richard the Lionheart. It is a high adventure that explores the universality of honor across religious lines.
