Sinopse
The weight of a family’s dark inheritance comes to a head in this suffocating and atmospheric domestic tragedy. Mrs. Alving’s attempts to protect her son from his father’s scandalous legacy prove futile as the past literally consumes the present. Ibsen strips away the polite masks of society to reveal the decay and disease hiding in plain sight. This provocative work challenges the traditional views of duty, morality, and the consequences of silence.
