Sinopse
A foul odor emanates from a pine box in the captain's cabin, fueling the narrator's wild theories about its contents. Only when the ship goes down does the tragic truth emerge: a husband would rather drown than abandon the corpse of his young wife. The story twists a humorous misunderstanding into a devastating portrait of grief.
