The Swoop! Or, How Clarence Saved England: A Tale Of The Great Invasion

When a coalition of bizarre foreign armies simultaneously invades a completely apathetic England, the adults are too obsessed with sports to care. It falls upon a resourceful boy scout to rally his troop and orchestrate a brilliant, unconventional resistance against the bewildered conquerors. Using nothing but cunning, slingshots, and a deep knowledge of wilderness survival, the young hero launches a campaign of hilarious sabotage. This is a riotous, satirical masterpiece that turns the classic invasion narrative entirely upside down.
