Sinopse
Three very different families—the wealthy capitalists, the bohemian intellectuals, and the struggling working class—collide over the fate of a beloved English country house. As their lives intertwine through marriage, scandal, and tragedy, a quiet but fierce battle erupts for the very soul of the nation. The idyllic estate becomes a powerful symbol of connection in a rapidly modernizing, deeply divided world. A masterful, deeply moving tragedy about class, human isolation, and the desperate need to connect.
