Sinopse
Effie Martin can ride a bicycle like a daredevil and pitch a ball as well as any boy. Winning the friendship of her sister's fashionable circle is another matter. When she overhears their cruel verdict on her, the careless tomboy is left wondering whether anyone could ever want her company.
A desperate race to save a child’s life brings her an unexpected ally: Lawrence Earle, a young man whose kindness and faith offer her a glimpse of a different future. His belief in her gives Effie the courage to try again.
But Lawrence’s sudden departure leaves her to face old hurts, new responsibilities and a family crisis without his guidance. As Effie learns what it means to put others first, will anyone recognize the young woman she is becoming?
Grace Livingston Hill’s Found Treasure is a tender story of faith, courage and the quiet sacrifices that reveal a heart’s true worth.
